A partnership between Omidyar Network, Hopelab, Susan Crown Exchange, Data Funders Collaborative, New Media Ventures, Pivotal Ventures, Reynolds Lookup Fund, the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, and the Archewell, Arthur M. Blank Family, Oak Foundation, Patrick J. McGovern foundations is a $1.5 million investment to support initiatives that are shaping the future of the responsible technology movement.

Grants ranging between $25,000 and $200,000 will be awarded to organizations that are youth-(up to age 25) and intergenerationally led, working within the responsible technology movement, and working on issues including but not limited to: mental health, digital well-being, mis- and disinformation, cybersecurity, digital divide, privacy, digital literacy, data equity, platform accountability, open source technology, algorithmic bias, and more.

Efforts to be supported include building, shaping, and stewarding our tech ecosystem to safeguard human rights; leveraging technology platforms to address social, cultural, political, or environmental problems; ensuring equitable access to the benefits of technology; and mitigating the harmful impacts of technology on all communities, including youth.

Applicants must be tax-exempt as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to be eligible.
